This week we will begin creating a Gingerbread Boy! The kids will make gingerbread houses with our friends at the retirement homes. But......our Gingerbread Boy will be running away and we will be searching for him!

Gingerbread Boy Magnets They are made from recycled cardboard and recycled magnets.
Rudolph Rudolph is made with recycled, burnt out light bulbs (more pics posted under the Christmas 2019 tab)
Christmas Balls The children used recycled cardboard and used the paper punch to make stars. The paper punch helps with fine motor skills. They glued them on along with glitter. (more pics posted under the Christmas 2019 tab)
Snowmen Made from recycled cardboard, milk jug caps, Coke lids, and applesauce twist tops. (more pics posted under the Christmas 2019 tab)
10 "Blue Goodie Bags" heading to Topeka this morning to Catholic Charities. We also made 7 small "Blue Bags" out of remnants.
If anyone ever wonders "why" we visit the local retirement homes so frequently....the pictures below are self explanatory. Hugs are so important to children and the elderly.
