This week we will be visiting our friends at Assisted Living North on Monday and Long Term Care on Friday. We will continue to work on our letter recognition as well as writing them on the dry erase boards. We have been working hard on our "Caring is Sharing" Project. We are hoping to have 15 more by mid week for Catholic Charities in Topeka. ******************
We decided to brave the cold (30 degrees/real feel 22 degrees) and walk to Stoneybrook for Story Time. We read snow books and made our imaginary Thanksgiving Feast. One's imagination can take them to an entirely new level. Our feasts were made from recycled cardboard from one of my families place of employment which I provide childcare for and recycled grocery ads. This activity promotes fine motor skill and engages our imaginations! (more pics posted under the Stoneybrook tab)
HAPPY FRIDAY!!! Thanks Hadlee for the doughnuts!
Felt remnant turkey magnets (more pics posted under the Thanksgiving 2019 tab)
Snowmen!!! (made from wood remnants, fabric remnants, random buttons and beer tops) more pics are posted under the Christmas 2019 tab)
This morning (Monday) we walked to Stoneybrook Assisted Living. We painted fall trees. We brought our lacing cards and some of our favorite puzzles to share. (more pics are posted under the Assisted Living tab 2019) I am not able to post many pics of the kids simply because of the incredible interaction with this group of friends!
