This week just for fun we will be celebrating National Spiderman Day on Thursday, August 1. We will be making Spiderman cookies, masks and Super Hero arm cuffs. Lots of outdoor play and enjoying our feathered friends too!
Last week I purchased lunch trays. We will be using these daily. As children enter Kindergarten, it is important they feel confident carrying their own lunch tray to the table while full of food. When children begin school one of their fears is spilling their lunch tray; therefor, they do not get all of the food they would like to eat. It is my hope the children become comfortable with this task.
It was such a beautiful morning, we decided to visit our friends at Stoneybrook, they loved our Spider-Man masks and web-shooters!
Spider-man arm bands (aka web shooters) Arm bands are made from recycled toilet paper rolls and fabric remnants.
