Today we began learning about the life cycle of a Monarch Butterfly

Painting Toilet Paper Octopus (made with yarn remnants and toilet paper rolls)
We will be incubating another 9 eggs. I believe we finally have consistent temperatures so the children will have the opportunity to enjoy the baby chicks when they hatch. On Thursday we will be walking to Stoneybrook to celebrate National Ice Cream Soda Day with our friends. We will do an activity with the residents and I have purchased ice cream and Orange Crush to make ice cream sodas! Friday is the first day of Summer! We will be celebrating with a picnic lunch and lots of fresh air and sunshine! ****************************************************************
