We will continue to try to trap that "Sneaky Leprechaun" this week. I have an Avocado seed that the kids and I are going to try to grow. They will begin learning about Spring. Our baby chicks are growing so fast, they are already feathering out and trying to fly out of their home, I'm not sure how much longer we will get to keep them. Hopefully by the end of the week we will refill our incubator with more eggs and if we are lucky it will be duck eggs this time. Spring is such an exciting time of the year for everyone!
Today we baked "chick" cookies and are saying farewell to our babies. They have grown so fast that it is hard for me to contain them in my house. We are planning to start the incubator again on Monday and in 21 days we will have some more babies! Hopefully this time we will be able to enjoy them more and get to take them outdoors!

Leprechaun trap # 4
March comes in like a Lion!!!! We made lions today with rotini noodles!
Shoot!!! That Leprechaun is too smart for us! We didn't catch him with this trap either!
Welcome, Ollie Avocado! On Friday the kids ate an avocado, we allowed the pit to dry over the week-end. Today we placed three toothpicks in Ollie and submersed half of him into a glass of water. He should begin to show some roots within two weeks. We placed him in a warm sunny window sill. Once he has a good root system established we can plant him in soil. He will grow into a handsome avocado tree.
Leprechaun Trap # 3....maybe this will be our lucky trap!
No Luck catching our Leprechaun with our trap, we are determined! We will make another trap today!
